Open Letter To Saleh Gadi!
Daniel Dawit (February 05, 2004)

I am a concerned Eritrean like yourself. And I have been writing issues regarding how PFDJ/Isseyas regime is oppressing The People and what we can do about it? If you read my articles, it calls for action. But when I asked your Awate Staff to post my articles, they refused by saying that my message is very strong that would promote violence. However Thanks to Dekebat staff for letting me share my views with my Eritrean People.

In your recent article M9:A New Underground Group you said, "I can't hide my rejection of violence. I simply abhor it. Yet, I am a strong fan of Aya Hammurabi. I can't explain my views any better than to admit they are identical to Mesfin Hagos' stand as he eloquently described it in his interview with Russom Mesfin a few weeks ago. Peaceful struggle is always preferred but I don't have any moral authority to tell people not to fight back when they are being attacked and their rights are being violated. I condemn the empire of terror, the perpetrator of violence, the PFDJ. The cause for any present and future violence lies squarely on the PFDJ system. "

So Gadi, welcome for joining me and we are in the same boat. By now it must be clear to all that Isseyas wedi- Tenbenay is deaf when it comes to negotiation peacefully. You might know his history more than me, for instance how did he resolve the ELF, Menkaque Movement, Rightist/Leftist movements, handicapped veterans, University of Asmara Students, and the most recent conflict with Ethiopia, disagreement with his inner circles and the lists goes on and on. The only resolution he know is force. Consequently I decided to inform to all Eritrean people who live in side and outside Eritrea to fight back for their right by any means necessary. I am not going to waste my time and Energy for cold-blooded dictator who do not understand peaceful solution.

A morale I have wouldn't allow me to see people suffer and we know that we paid a lot not to be oppressed, ridiculed, lose our loved one, & destitute. In conclusion I would like to thank Saleh Gadi for seeing my outlook to sand up for your right by any means necessary. Isseyas/Wedi Tenbenay came by force and He will go by force it is that simple. We just need devoted people to stop this atrocities once and for all.

Glory to our fallen sisters and brothers!
Let Democracy prevail in Eritrea!
Swift Down Fall to Wedi-Tenenbenay Regime!
