Il Consiglio Direttivo dell' "Associazione Salviamo il Popolo Eritreo" (ASPER) si è riunito oggi 18.10.2004 al fine di tracciare un primo programma riguardante gli adempimenti relativi alle finalità del suo Statuto.
E' stato pertanto promosso all'unanimità quanto segue:
1. Individuare e contattare un collegio forense costituito da almeno quattro avvocati che dovranno costituirsi come parte civile per difendere nelle sedi di competenza i diritti del Popolo Eritreo così come espresso nello Statuto e in particolare:
- contrastare le espulsioni degli eritrei dall'Italia
- tutelare i diritti degli eritrei forzatamente rimpatriati dalla Libia e da Malta
- sensibilizzare enti e amministrazioni governative per garantire asilo in Italia agli eritrei che lo richiedono nonché facilitare il loro inserimento e la loro integrazione.
2. Aprire un conto corrente bancario e postale a nome dell'ASPER per facilitare il versamento delle quote dei Soci Sostenitori e di eventuali contributi allo scopo di poter sostenere urgentemente le spese di onorario del collegio forense citato nel punto (1).
3. La nomina del collegio forense avverrà non appena saranno sufficienti e disponibili i contributi di cui al punto (2) che saranno notificati e per trasparenza resi noti via Internet sui siti:

N.B.: Nell'attesa della prossima riunione del Consiglio Direttivo, desideriamo ringraziare tutti coloro che con solidarietà ed incoraggiamento hanno collaborato all'iniziativa che ha portato alla costituzione dell' "ASPER".

COMMUNIQUE

Le Comité de Direction de la ASPER "Associazione "Salviamo il Popolo Eritreo" (Association Sauvons le Peuple Erythréen) s'est réunie à ce jour, 18.10.04, afin de tracer un premier programme concernant les accomplissements relatifs aux finalités de ses Statuts.
Par conséquent, à l'unanimité, il a été décidé:

1. D'identifier et de contacter un collège d'avocats comprenant au moins quatre avocats qui devront se constituer comme partie civile pour défendre, auprès des sièges compétents, les droits du Peuple Erythréen, tel qu'exprimé dans les Statuts, et en particulier:
- contester les expulsions des érythréens du territoire italien;
- sauvegarder les droits des érythréens contraints au rapatriement de la Libye et de Malte;
- sensibiliser les organisations et les admi-nistrations gouvernementales pour ga-rantir, en Italie, l'asile politique aux érythréens qui en font la demande, et faciliter leur incorporation et leur intrégration.

2. D'ouvrir un compte courant bancaire et postal au nom de l'ASPER pour faciliter le versement des cotisations des Membres Bienfaiteurs et le versement, à titre de contribution, de toute éventuelle somme servant à soutenir avec urgence les frais relatifs aux honoraires du collège d'avocats cité au point (1).

3. La nomination du collège d'avocats sera effectuée dès que l'on estimera suffisantes les contributions prévues au point (2), lesquelles seront notifiées et, par souci de transparence, diffusées via internet sur les sites:

N.B. Dans l'attente de la prochaine réunion du Comité de Direction, nous désirons remercier toutes les personnes qui, avec solidarité et courage, ont collaboré à l'initiative qui a porté à la constitution de l'ASPER.

The Executive Board of the Association "Salviamo il Popolo Eritreo" ["Let's Save the Eritrean People"] (ASPER) met today 18/10/04 in order to draw up a first programme on the requirements relative to the aims of its Articles of Association.
The following has therefore been decided unanimously:

To identify and contact a team of lawyers made up of at least four members who will take legal action to defend in the competent seats the rights of the Eritrean people as expressed in the Articles of Association and in particular:
- to oppose deportations of Eritreans from Italy
- to protect the rights of Eritreans forcibly repatriated by Libya and Malta
to raise awareness of government bodies and authorities to guarantee asylum in Italy for Eritreans who request it as well as to facilitate their insertion and their integration.
To open a bank and Post Office current account in the name of the ASPER to facilitate the payment of the membership fees of the Supporting members and of any contributions for the purpose of urgently bearing the fees of the team of lawyers mentioned in point (1).
The appointment of the team of lawyers will take place as soon as the contributions as per point (2) are sufficient and available which will be notified and for the sake of transparency made known over the Internet at the sites:
